Hello from a new member

I have owned three autosleepers over the years. My first one was a cf Bedford 250p??5 speed - lovely van. My second was a vw T25 1.9 petrol which started my love of vw campers. My current vw is the T4 2.4D SHERBOURNE of which ive never seen another-but im hoping to hear from other owners through the forum. Cheers Gaz.

from Leicestershire, not many Sherbournes about, as not many made, I was interested in that model as the washroom is great, and it is a VW, haven`t seen one in the flesh so to speak, ( apart from the outside at Willersey,) would be interested to hear how you find it, as I use mine as my car,

Hi daisy mae, and yes seems that not many made would love to know how many came off the line. The wash room was my wifes wish for when we set out to buy another van and once she saw the sherbourne wash room well, job done. For me it had to have the vw up front and i loved the look and lay out of this model which works perfect for us,and so comfy.We use the van all year round in all weathers with no problems and have been to switzerland twice in the summer months and again with no efford apart from some of the steep climbs but we managed,perhaps the 2.5td engine would work better in this part of the world. But i must say nothing has stopped us on are travels, the 2.4d engine is a very capeable motor and with only 40,000 miles on it we have plenty more holidays miles left.
