Hello from Derek and Margaret in Dorset.
My apologies for posting a message before introducing ourselves, though in a way we have been members since September 2004, so I'm not sure we count as 'new'.
Our first motorhome was a 'T' reg Symbol which we bought in 2004 and used for a couple of years until we decided we wanted something larger. We were members of the forum which was current at that time and found it to be a very useful resource.
Our two vans since we had the Symbol were a different make but we always thought we would return to the fold and we took delivery of our Bourton about three weeks ago. It is a bit smaller than we have gotten used to, but I failed the health check to retain my 'big van' licence and it seemed sensible to accept the inevitable and come down to below 3.5 metric tonnes.
Inevitably I had no idea of my original login or password in the old ASOC forum, but having been dormant a long time it would have been deleted anyway.
One of our first trips in the Symbol was to an ASOC rally and we will be looking to join one with the new van, as soon as I've finished reading my way through the documentation.
We live within the borough of Poole down in Dorset and look forward to bumping in to some of you on the rally field.

Hello Derek and Margaret and from Leicestershire, good you have returned to the fold, but this is the Auto-sleepers owners forum= ASOF, not the Auto-sleepers Owners Club=ASOC enjoy anyway.

Welcome from N.E Wales. . Just to clarify things - this forum was only started in 2011 and the ASOC doesn't have an online forum.

Re: Hello from Derek and Margaret in Dorset.
Hi everyone and thanks for your greetings.
Sorry that I mixed up my ASOC's and my ASOF's, it just goes with the age, I'm afraid.
I worked in IT for 45 years and we used TLA's (three letter abbreviations) and FLA's (four..) all the time so I should know better.
