I had a lot of trouble getting a replacement 6 Kilo lite last month and bought one in the end from a shop which charged me £3.00 more than recommended and then told me they were not dealers just resellers so I'm thinking of getting a gas tank fitted.  Can anyone give me any figures on these such as fitting and cost of gas bought that way?

Have a look on GasIts web site for prices of the equipment, they have local installers if needed. There are other suppliers which I found when I converted to be higher price for no better quality.

In the 1st 12 months I recon I recovered the cost of my 13kg gross 11kg actual net cylinder, fill point connecting arm and hose etc. I am more than qualified to do the installation so didnt have any installation costs.

2 Calor 6kg Lite cylinders are about £42 my GasIt set up holds around 1 ltre less and I think we paid 68/69p per ltr think its about 21 ltrs. Have a look on previous threads on the subject and you should find exact details.

There is another benefit - No scratched knuckles anymore through doing battle getting cylinders in and out on "some models"

Well worth the conversion
