New Member Intro

Hi All
Just taking the time to introduce myself to the members forum.  I purchased my Sherpa only last year and with my rose-tinted specs of dreaming of touring with my family, we have only been out in it a handful of times before retiring him for the winter.  Winter went on to Spring and then Spring to now.  After failing MOT and issues in finding parts, seals and rear brakes, Ernie48, as we have named him, is now ready for his first 2015 trip (once we have recharged the dead battery)! 

I was very interested in joining your forum, in order to meet like-minded, or hopefully, those with great knowledge in repair/restoration tips that will help me along in keeping Ernie48 from deteriorating and so that he stays in tip-top condition!  Being a 1982 model, he attracts great attention wherever he is parked and I can't wait for the adventures (good ones to start).  Just browsing the forum, already I'm picking up great tips from the site and know I will not be disappointed.

I look forward to the beginning of a great journey and sharing agonies and successes with fellow members.
