Re: Peterborough Motorhome Show
Should be at the P'boro show.... It's one of the better shows IMO
Newark show is pretty useless, but it's a cheap few days break if camping over.
These shows could cater to us Motorhomers way better than they do... Most stalls have nothing to do with Motorhoming or caravaning, also they generally sell all the same products, there's nothing revolutionary or new too see just the same old tat I struggle to spend any money usually!
Also some of the prices horrify me... Saw a stall selling Sikaflex for £15 a tube, yet my local camping shop situated in a quite North Norfolk village has it on the shelf for £8.99 a tube

We will be there on the general camping. We did joint ASOC for a year but as we both work the dates for rallies did not correspond with our holidays. Still only another 12 years to go

Re: Peterborough Motorhome Show
The (newly retired) team duck will be camping with MH Fun but probably not spending too much time in the Marquee. As above, we are going to meet friends and for some cheap camping, not necessarily to buy anything.
Mind you, we did end up with a new Pilote A class last time around, so anything could happen......

Hopefully I will be there, not camping though as it is not far from me.

Re: Peterborough Motorhome Show
that's correct, just be aware that if the weather is bad, they can stop accepting any non-booked campers and just take the pre-booked ones. The ground is notorious for quickly becoming a mudbath when it rains so that's why they do it. A couple of years ago there were hundreds turned away for just that reason.

Re: Peterborough Motorhome Show
As we were too late to book with ASOC I checked with Warners and yes you can 'just turn up' but places are not guaranteed. Good advice re the weather Paul.
We will be going to the 'general camping area' so hope to meet up with some of you 'at last' .
Does the camping fee include entry to the show or is that extra?

Re: Peterborough Motorhome Show
Decision reached, we've booked in for Saturday night at a site only about 1/4 mile from the showground and will try and get a full day at the show Sunday, meeting friends and having a look around.
Perhaps see you there
