Neat tv solution

We have been using a usb tv tuner with a laptop in the van but it has never been very good and can take 20 mins to scan channels and often does not find any.
Had a look at options and came across this.

Tiny little thing and plugged into one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Avtex-STH1000-Digital-Caravan-Aerial/dp/B003D4YCZY found 126 channels with electronic program guide and the ability to record .It transmits the tv signal to out tablet or phone so no wires and very little current drain on the battery.
Will fit some usb ports near the tv shelf next.

It looks an interesting little device, to too costly either

Have had Eye TV for a few years (on recommendation of son-in-law who works in IT). It's excellent, both in UK and overseas. The only small nuisance we've found is that to be lazy and use the Eye's remote, the laptop on which you're displaying the TV picture must have an infra-red receiver. Our old MacBook doesn't. But the execrcise does me good, and I can top up the wine when I'm on my feet!
