New and happy :-)
We are new to camper-vanning after many years of tent camping and have recently taken ownership of an old (although not compared to us) VW T4 Autosleeper. Am sure in times to come we'll be asking for help but for now just thought I'd join up and say hello!

Wow you're a super happy bunch! Really pleased to have found you all and will be posting with questions am sure as we get to some head scratching points in our journey. Right now the van is getting some much needed rust treatment and will soon be undergoing a makeover of cabinets inside as they weren't to our taste. So, it'll be out with an abundance of flowers and teapots that Mr W really wasn't a fan of. Eeek! Have some other maintenance bits to do, exhaust and new tyre but on the whole she seems a great buy for us.

I'm Henrybruce............hello
I've got a very old and very neglected Autosleeper Legend which is now 28 years old which I found in a local layby with a 'For Sale' notice attached about 18 months ago. The habitation side looked OK and to my regret I didn't look too closely at the rest which needed massive TLC. To date I must have doubled the purchase price but have had great fun with it.
