Newbie hello
Hi everyone
The Polly was our first motorvan after many years caravanning and we've been very happy with it over the past five years. Looking for something just a little bit bigger now, but not too big to explore the little lanes! Probably another AS, found the forum whilst looking for info. Rienza / Amethyst are currently top of our list, any user feedback on them would be welcome- thanks in anticipation.

Welcome Wingnut.... We have a few Rienza / Amethyst owners on the forum, so hopefully they will be able to give you some feedback

Re: Newbie hello
Hello Wingnut..... we have had a Rienza for four years, having purchased it as a very low mileage example in 2007. Since done about thirty thousand miles, both here and abroad. Great vehicle based on the 2.4 Transit, with a six speed box. Earlier ones had the five speed and a friend with one of these complains about noise at Cruising speed. Cannot complain about the six speed version, cruising at the legal limit and only turning over 2400 rpm, and getting up to 30 mpg depending on conditions. If you search this forum for "Team Rienza", this member published photos, and an extensive glowing description.
Good luck in your search.... you won't regret it.

Re: Newbie hello
You might pickup a Ford based Hampshire on a later regn plate than a Rienza - same van
The Amethyst of course will hold its value better
