Cobb BBQs - Not just your ordinary BBQ !
Hi
Has anyone else got a Cobb BBQ ? Obviously our Trident doesn't have an oven - only the usual 2 ring hob and grill - so last year we invested in a Cobb BBQ so we could roast as well as fry, grill and boil. A Cobb BBQ allows you to roast and with the right accessory even cook pizzas. Here's what they look like.

All you do do is fill the centre section with 5 or 6 charcoal briquettes and the moat with water - you can add wine for flavour ! Once the charcoal is lit and grey you can put your meat/fish/chicken on the rack that goes above the charcoal and your veg wrapped in tin foil in the moat. Last year in Norfolk we cooked a full roast Sunday dinner (deilicous !) on it and the next day used it as an ordinary BBQ to cook sausages on the beach. The only drawback is that you must use it outside your van or in the awning but as we spend most of our time outside it's no problem.
Just Google Cobb BBQs for more info and suppliers.

We could do with something like this, ideal for bangers and pork steaks I would think? not as messy and bulky as
a regular bbq which is better for touring :(Y) or (y):
found this video on youtube: Cobb BBQ
